21 years underway
Kronstadt's journey begins 21 years ago, when founder Thomas Olesen saw a hole in the Scandinavian fashion scene. The playful Dane created a collection consisting of shirts with large collars, wide cuffs and cool materials. The reception was overwhelmingly positive, and a new brand was born. After a few years, Kronstadt was known far and wide for their “funky” shirts with unique and unique designs.
At the beginning of the new millennium, Thomas Olesen changed his focus from funky shirts to good fits, discreet details and classic collars - always with the high quality in the headquarters. Kronstadt expanded his clothing line to include t-shirts, pants, jackets, knitwear and an increased focus on sustainability, i.a. through recycling of cotton.
When Thomas Olesen was very aware of the fashion industry's impact on the environment, he began very early to use recyclable cotton in production 15 years ago. Recycling cotton prevents unnecessary waste and can be a more sustainable alternative to disposal. We believe in taking care of used yarn. In our collections we have many styles made from recyclable cotton.

In our range of sustainable / recycled clothing you will find i.a. t-shirts, sweatshirts, a variety of knitwear and even jackets made with recyclable cotton or plastic bottles.
